I'm a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in Florida with more than a decade of experience walking alongside people through anxiety, grief, and everything in between. My work is grounded in mindfulness, presence, and a deep respect for who you already are. I'm not here to fix you — I'm here to help you shed the patterns that no longer serve you and step into a life that feels authentically yours.
Much of my own path has involved navigating anxiety, and that experience shapes how I show up in the room: with honesty, warmth, and the conviction that healing is possible. You don't have to carry it alone, and you don't have to stay attached to the idea that this is just how things are.
I opened Harmonious Hummingbird in 2019 after years of work in addiction and co-occurring disorders, and in 2024 I became a Qualified Clinical Supervisor so I can support the next generation of counselors, too.
When I'm not in session, you'll usually find me outnumbered by our three dogs — a toy poodle, a Maltese, and a German shepherd who hasn't realized he's not a lapdog — or spending time with my husband and our son. I came to this work partly through my own healing, so I know what it's like to sit on the other side of the chair, and I don't take for granted how much courage it takes to start. I'm not the kind of therapist who nods along from behind a clipboard. I'll laugh with you, sit in the hard stuff with you, and gently call you forward when you're ready. Healing doesn't have to be heavy all the time.
I'm proud to be a Black woman and therapist, and my practice is deeply rooted in serving the Black community. That pride is an open door, not a closed one. Clients of every background — people of color, the LGBTQIA+ community, and anyone seeking to be met with respect — find an affirming, judgment-free space here.
Culturally responsive care that treats your identity and lived experience as central — never an afterthought.
POC and LGBTQIA+ clients are genuinely seen and supported. You won't have to explain or defend who you are.
Anyone navigating anxiety, grief, life transitions, identity, relationships, and more.
The hummingbird is the only bird that can fly forward, backward, or hold perfectly still. Like us, it gets to choose its direction — to dwell in the past, or accept what's happened and move ahead with hope.
In flight, its wings trace the shape of infinity — a reminder of the limitlessness of the human spirit. Harmony is the agreement to live in balance. Life can be hard, but choosing not to do it alone is the easy part.
Healing starts with simply noticing how you feel. No app, no sign-up — just one slow breath together, whenever you're ready.
I work with clients across Florida. These are the areas I'm asked for most — but if what you're carrying isn't named here, reach out anyway.
Your mind won't quiet down. You're three steps ahead of a conversation that hasn't happened yet — over-planning, over-functioning, bracing for something you can't quite name. We'll slow the spin and help you feel steady in your own life again.
You're not lazy or careless — your brain just works differently, and the world wasn't built for it. Maybe you were diagnosed recently, or you've spent years quietly wondering why things that look easy for everyone else feel so hard. We'll build systems and self-compassion that actually fit how you're wired.
Therapy and support for living with ADHD — not testing or assessments.
Someone is gone, and so is the version of you that lived alongside them. People expect you to be "back to normal" by now, but grief doesn't keep a schedule. There's room here for all of it — the sorrow, the anger, and the days it still doesn't feel real.
I draw from mindfulness, cognitive behavioral and acceptance-based work, humanistic and strength-based therapy, and culturally responsive care — chosen and blended for you, not pulled from a one-size-fits-all playbook. In plain terms: we'll get clear on what's weighing on you, work with your thoughts and patterns, and build practical tools you can actually use — moving forward at your own pace, and never rushed.
A short, private reflection on experiences that are common for adults with ADHD. It takes about two minutes — answer based on what's true for you across a typical few weeks.
Please read first: This is an educational reflection — not a test, a diagnosis, or medical advice. Only a qualified professional can diagnose ADHD, and many of these experiences can also come from stress, anxiety, depression, poor sleep, or simply being stretched too thin. Your answers stay on your device and are never sent or saved.
Reaching out is the hardest part. Here's exactly what to expect.
Call or email to set up a free 15-minute phone consultation. We'll talk briefly about what's bringing you in and whether we're a good fit.
Your first appointment runs about 45–60 minutes. There's no pressure — just space to talk, at your pace, in whatever direction feels right.
Many clients start weekly, then move to every other week as things settle. We'll find a cadence that fits your life and your goals.
